Independent assurance for management and operational decisions.
An effective audit should do more than count documents. It should test whether requirements are understood, controls are implemented and intended results are being achieved.

Our audit method
- Confirm objectives, scope, criteria, jurisdiction and locations
- Verify the applicable ISO, OSHAD/ADOSH, SA8000, SMETA, customer-code, legal, contractual or internal criteria
- Prepare the audit plan and sampling approach
- Review relevant documented information
- Conduct opening meeting, interviews and site observations
- Examine records and triangulate evidence
- Classify findings using agreed definitions
- Conduct closing meeting and confirm factual accuracy
- Issue a concise report with evidence and required follow-up
- Review corrective actions and verify effectiveness where agreed
Findings state the applicable criterion, the objective evidence sampled and the nature of the gap. Auditors avoid blame, assumptions and unsupported conclusions.
Audit outputs
Outputs may include an audit plan, attendance record, executive summary, conformity and finding register, nonconformity statements, opportunities for improvement, corrective action request, follow-up tracker and closure verification.
Independence and confidentiality
Audit competence, impartiality and confidentiality are considered when the team and scope are agreed. Where PrimeCert has supported implementation, the audit arrangement is designed to avoid self-review or is clearly identified as a readiness review rather than an independent internal audit.
